Leaving Peck's Lake and going a couple of miles we saw the St. Lucie Inlet docks, a nice state park on the ICW, A ranger told us we would find 4-5 ft if we approached the docks from the northwest and could tie up as needed for day use. We will check this out next trip down.
The summer storms are forecast for every day on the coast and are fast and furious sometimes. We experienced one that had 50 mph winds and had to anchor in the ICW channel for an hour till it moved offshore.

Tucked in at Vero Beach Marina. A very nice city marina with fuel and amenities we liked. The beach is a short bike ride away. Dock master and crew very helpful and accommodating. |
