Astor Bridge, Acosta Creek and Georgetown Marinas on the St. John's River

Suzsea chased lizards at every stop. This was at Hontoon Island

Two Fishermen @ Hontoon Island

Gators are everywhere on the river

Lots of odd boats on the River. Most boaters are respectful of the no wake zones, except the weekenders can get rowdy

We saw this boat several times and it appears to be homemade

This river front bar and grill has issues. we do not recommend it  See  http://tinyurl.com/ozxo5bf

The creeks off the river are awesome adventures.

Astor Creek Marina is a good stop to explore from.

Blue Creek and other creeks are worth the trip and time to visit

Blue Creek is across from Murphy's Creek and bot are accessible by dink or small craft.

Across from Astor Bridge Marina is a fuel stop with some supplies. The nice people will take grocery orders for you.

The entrance to Astor Bridge Marina shows the rotting side of the grill.

Georgetown Marina exposed to wakes from speeding fishermen.

Georgetown Marina is nice people and good fuel prices. Lots of fishing boats.

Acosta Creek Marina

Georgetown Marina, You can see nowhere from here and visit Salt Run Spring

Acosta Creek Marina

Suzsea loves to bark at anything that moves

Free dock at Outback Crab Shack. Out Back was the best seafood we found on the river.

We re now at Ortega Landing Marina http://www.ortegalanding.com/

The Ortega Landing Marina is very nice! We will be here at least until my treatments at VA are done if not longer.

Our favorite Hontoon Island

Big gators came out at night to play and feed
