Bottom's Up or at least painted
Every few years boats in sea water especially in warm climates have their bottom done. You can depending on your skill and ability do this yourself, but it is related to yard work a dirt dweller does. Some do their own and others hire professionals to do this. We were going to a nearby yard and when we examined the estimate decided to look around. Our friends had used Huckins Boatyard and were well pleased. http://www.huckinsyacht.com/service/
We were a little intimidated due to the reputation of the work they do and the looks of our old boat. The old girl does have her age spots and wrinkles.

All of these boats are being restored or are ready for new owners. We arrived on Friday and were welcomed by P.J. the manager. We stayed on the facedock until haulout on Monday. |

Need new zincs to protect the metal from corrosion |
Props.. A lot of controversy of what to paint them with or plate them with to prevent growth and fouling. |
The old paint is Trinidad SR60 and will be replaced by the same in blue this time. |
I'm excited for y'all. And a little jealous. We hope to be leaving in a matter of days. Just waiting on some batteries. Where will you go once you leave jax? Hopefully we will meet up again.
